Toms River Blackhawks win OT Thriller

The Toms River Blackhawks staged an impressive comeback in a thrilling overtime win over the Exton Kings.

Dylan Vowteras pushed the Blackhawks a head early with a goal in the first period. The Kings responded one minute later when Silas Defibaugh found the back of the net with assists from Justin Celentino and Aleks Kepiro. Justin Celentino scored an unassisted goal just over two minutes later to put the Kings up 2-1.

The Blackhawks responded with another goal from Dylan Vowteras, assisted by Cole Sturman and Connor Simonson to make it 2-2 in the second period. The Kings retook the lead just after that thanks to a powerplay goal from Silas Defibaugh assisted by Anderson Frain and Christian McCuch, but Dylan Vowteras scored his third of the night with just 16 seconds left on the clock, tying it up 3-3 and forcing overtime.

Finally, in OT Colin Costello brought home the 4-3 victory for Toms River, assisted by Cole Sturman. It was an incredible game for both teams who left everything out on the ice till the final buzzer!
