The Flyers Youth hockey team secured a victory over the Genesis Hockey Club on Tuesday night in a hard-fought match. Rylan Hull opened the scoring for the Flyers with a goal in the first period. This was quickly followed by Cole Schwartzs goal for Genesis, tying the score at one.
In the second period, Justin Dinsmore pushed Genesis ahead after he was assisted by Tre Dyer. The Flyers Brendan Rodgers pulled his team level again with an assist from Jaxson Luciano, before David Mogell secured victory with a game-winning goal to make it 3-2.
The final score saw Mogells stat total increase to nine and Isaac Cavanagh receive his first goal of the season, as well as bagging an assist in the victory. Congratulations go out to both teams for their competitive spirit!
