In a thrilling match between the Long Island Royals and Long Island Rebels - 10U Gold, Jaxson Dorrien was able to power his team to a victory.
D orrien started off the game strong with an early goal in the first period, giving his team an 8-9 lead. In the second period, Dorrien found the back of the net again for the game winning goal that set the scoreboard at 8-10. The game then went to an extended third period, where both teams continued to battle.
The Royals resurgence was capped off by two more empty net goals from Dorrien in the third period and another from Michael Yovino, setting the score at 11-1 in favor of the Royals. Along with these goals, Lorenzo Beltram also netted one for Long Island Rebels - 10U Gold with an assist from Clark Beltram. In the end though it wasnt enough as Long Island Royals secured their victory.
