Wilkes-Barre Jr Penguins Win Tense Hockey Match

The Wilkes-Barre Jr Penguins defeated the Long Island Mustangs 3-2 in a tense hockey match. Collin Gercken opened the scoring for the Mustangs in t he first period, but Gabriel Fatula of the Penguins scored soon after, assisted by Joseph Lipinski. Zachary Kasyjanski of the Mustangs then put them ahead once again before Mack Weisgable and Nicholas Mozga levelled for the Penguins in quick succession. Michael Snow put the Mustangs ahead for a third time going into the second period, but Joseph Lipinskis power-play with assistance from Gabriel Fatula and Joseph Baranowski won them the match. Mack Weisgable added to his tally with an unassisted goal in that period. Wilkes-Barre Jr Penguins are now 5-1 on their season while Long Island Mustangs are 2-4 so far.
