The Toms River Blackhawks delivered a 6-3 win over Quakers Youth Hockey on Saturday night, thanks in large part to a trio of shorthanded goals. And rew Buda and Joseph Taliercio both scored shorthanded goals for the Blackhawks, as did Connor Simonson with his game-winning tally. Buda also went on to record two assists. Aiden Ruiz notched a hat trick with three goals - one power play marker and two shorthanded ones - while recording an assist, and Colin Costello tallied one assist. Alexander Tomaszewicz scored the lone goal for Quakers Youth Hockey.
