The Long Island Gulls of the NHL earned a victory Friday night, thanks in large part to Steven Katagas.
Katagas showed up big in overtime, as hi s goal at 1:00:02 helped the Gulls pull out a victory in a closely contested match. Katagas, who came into the game with five total goals, now has six. His game-winning goal was his first of the season and put the Gulls ahead for good.
With this win, the Long Island Gulls are now on an impressive four-game winning streak and look to be finding their rhythm for the remainder of their season.
