Princeton Youth came away victorious in an exciting hockey game against Long Beach Lightning, with the final score of 3-2. In the first period, Leo nard Gandolfo scored for Princeton Youth assisted by Gavin Caudill, putting their team up 1-0 by periods end.
In the second period, Leonard Gandolfo netted his second goal of the game with an assist from Corey Marley to increase Princetons lead to 2-0. John McKenna quickly answered back for Long Beach with a goal of his own but Gavin Nutt put Princeton ahead 3-1 after being assisted by Michael Crivello late in the period.
Andrew Doheny got Long Beach within one goal but Davis Dupee sealed the victory for Princeton Youth in the third after scoring an unassisted goal with just under two minutes left on the clock. Despite a great effort from Long Beach Lightning, it was not enough to come away with a win as Leonard Gandolfo starred for Princeton Youth with a brace in their 3-2 victory.
