In an exciting overtime showdown, the Hudson Valley Polar Bears secured victory over the Long Island Sharks on Wednesday night. Ethan Abrahams scor ed two goals in the first period to lead the Polar Bears, with Wilson Speller and Gavin Carey also contributing to their cause. Christopher DAlessandro then equalized for Long Island after a power play goal in overtime. The game-winning goal was scored soon after by Sideri Georgedakis with another power play strike, ensuring a victory for the Polar Bears.
