Mid State Mustangs Take Home Win with Shorthanded Goals

The Mid State Mustangs hockey team earned a big win against the Capital Academy with shorthanded goals from Vincent Panetta and Connor Stere. The f irst goal of the game came from Panetta with an unassisted shot at 1:05:18 in the first period. This was Panettas first goal of the night, adding to his 0 before the game. Stere made an impressive follow-up with an assist from Lincoln Hillsberry at 1:05:37 to take the lead 2-0. The Capitals werent ready to give up yet, as Theodor Ehn scored after a powerplay assist from Luke Lopes and Henry Tasikas at 1:07:57, leaving them trailing 2-6 and securing the Mustangs win.
