New York Stars Win Game After First-Half Goals From Goldstein, Owen, and D'Andrea

The New York Stars came away with a win in their Thursday night hockey game against the Delaware Jr Blue Hens. The Stars got off to a great start a s forward Jesse Goldstein scored first at 01:04:47 into the first period, setting the tone for the rest of the game. Minutes later, Jack Owen followed up with another goal at 01:06:08, securing a 2-0 lead for the Stars and providing an eventual game-winning score. Later in the first period, Christopher DAndrea gave the Stars a 3-0 lead off of assists from Jack Owen and Nicholas Terranova at 01:08:30. The first period score was rounded out with goals from Andrew Clark, assisted by Christopher Gargano and Joseph Henry, and Patrick Sullivan assisted by Matthew Sweeny respectively at 01:19:58 and 01:24:38. The Stars saw no more scores in their favor until Christopher Garganos goal at 02:00:33 into the second period. However, their defense successfully stopped any attempt of scoring from the Blue Hens until Caleb Mackenzies goal at 02:0107 into the second period. The New York Stars proved victorious in this successful Thursday night game.
