Mustangs Dominate with 6 Goals in Hockey Game

The Mid State Mustangs, a community hockey team in our area, were victorious yesterday in an 8-1 game against the Loudoun Knights.

John Paul Hay was the standout player of the match, scoring three times during the course of the game. He was assisted by Porter Weise and Teaghan Smith on one goal each, and Jonathan Lorence grabbed a power play goal with assistance from Teaghan Smith. Jonathan came away with a game winning goal as well along with two assists from John Paul Hay and Connor McElheny for Isaac Millers shorthanded goal. Finally, Trenton Smith rounded off a stellar performance from the Mustangs with a power play goal coming from Isaac Millers assist.

It was clearly an all-around great outing for the Mustangs and their supporters could not have been prouder!
