The New York Stars took home a victorious win with a 4-2 score over the Genesis Hockey Club on Saturday evening.
Leading the way for the Stars w as Jason Radu, with two goals and one assist. Ryan Checkett, James Nicolaides and Anthony Russo each added one goal in the victory. John McCarthy Jr. and Braden Murphy each tallied up an assist for the Stars.
For the Genesis Hockey Club, Ryan Mikulich and Darius Graziani both provided highlights with power play goals in the second period to keep hope alive for a comeback. James Embert and Nolan Shingle tallied assists throughout the night.
The game winning goal was provided by Ryan Checkett in the fist period to give New York four unanswered goals they would hold onto until the end of regulation.
