N. Leyra Leads Red Bank Generals Hockey to Victory

Red Bank Generals Hockey overcame Snider Hockey (Fafara) in a thrilling game by a score of 3-2 Wednesday night. Nicolas Leyra, who finished the gam e with four total points, scored two of Red Banks three goals. The first came at the 1:01:25 mark of the first period, assisted by Drew Jarkowsky and Justin Ferlanti. His second of the night came at 1:10:19 off assists from Dylan Batko and Giancarlo Apolito, which knocked Snider off their lead and proved to be the game-winning goal. The Generals didnt stop there; they continued to put pressure on Snider as Elloit Berg sent one past the goalie at 1:22:32 off assists from Thomas Villano and Apolito. Red Bank was able to maintain their lead despite Noam Nismi scoring twice in the second period for Snider; once unassisted, and then again with help from Christopher Gibbon.
