Long Island Royals Win 5-2 With Game-Winning Goal by Jaxson Dorrien

The Long Island Royals beat the Pelham Youth Hockey team 5-2 in an exciting match this weekend. Espen Rose scored for Pelham to kick off the scorin g in the first period, putting the score at 1-0. Joseph Mucha and Logan Striga then netted a goal each for Long Island, making it 2-1 at the end of the first period.

In the third period, Michael Yovino scored with help from Logan Striga and Madison Dechirao, followed by Jaxson Dorriens game winning goal with assistance from Madison Dechirao and Nicholas Fielding. Luca Guiliano scored afterwards, with Joseph Mucha assisting. Andrew Cahn also scored in the third period with help from Joseph Mucha. With those goals, Long Island brought their total to five. Pelham managed to get one goal back in the third withhelp from James Putnam and Marco Terjarian; Gavin Drassinower was credited with the goal for Pelham.
