The Long Island Whalers celebrated a 5-1 victory over the New Jersey Colonials. Jake Raineri kicked things off in the first period with the Whalers first goal and Christopher Tine tallied an assist to add to his total of points. Long Island saw a second goal before the end of the first period with Dante Paulino contributing.
In the second period, Hayden Landry scored after receiving an assist from George Chikvanaia, then Jake Raineri followed soon after, also receiving an assist from Tine. Despite an early score from Owen Chandler in the first, New Jersey was unable to answer and ultimately fell short.
Finally Matthew Prezioso added one last point for Long Island in the third period with an assist from Jake Raineri - setting the final score at 5-1 for the Whalers and adding Raineri to his post-game stats of 3 points for the night.
