The Flyers Youth hockey team earned a thrilling come-from-behind victory in their recent matchup against the Navy Youth Hockey team. The two teams were locked at 0-0 heading into the first period, but the Flyers quickly took control and took the lead by scoring five unanswered goals by periods end. Marc Celso and Matthew Allen scored for the Flyers, with Jacob Glowacki, Justin Reuther, Logan Ellershaw and Dean Campanaro chipping in assists.
The second period saw Michael Valenta Jr and Aidan OBrien score for their respective teams, with Marc Celso assisting on Valentas goal, giving the Flyers a 6-1 lead. However, their celebration was short lived as Navy closed the gap to make it 6-2 with Troy Matchett assisting on OBriens goal. Ultimately, though, the Flyers held strong to secure the victory.
