The Long Island Edge put on a captivating show at their home Ice Rink on Friday night, securing a win against the Flyers Youth. Complex passing pla ys and remarkable individual efforts by Long Islands Eric Barbero and George Kammas left no doubt the Edge were to claim victory.
Eric Barbero led the charge for the Edge, leading the team with a hat trick and scoring the game-winning goal in period two of the match. His teammate, George Kammas was not far behind, contributing two goals and an assist.
The Flyers were unable to make a comeback in period two despite Brendan Rodgers goal halfway through the period. Despite their best efforts, they could not overcome the impressive performance by Eric Barbero and George Kammas.
In the end, it was a successful night for Long Island as they secured their first victory of the season against Philadelphias Flyers Youth.
