The Long Beach Lightning defeated the Princeton Youth in an exciting game at Elmore Field on Friday night. Two goals from Louis Barrandon of the Pr inceton Youth kept the game close, but the Lightning pulled ahead on two goals from Dario Rodriguez and one each from Luke Pichichero and Cole Lombardo. In the end, Pichicheros goal only 38 seconds away from time expired was the difference maker, as it gave the Long Beach Lightning a 7-5 victory. Andrew McClelland had an assist on Rodriguezs goal and Jonathon Koo assisted Jonas Chia in Princetons last goal. The Long Beach Lightning now move to 2-4 for their season.
