Long Beach Lightning Defeat Jersey Wolves in High-Scoring Game

The Long Beach Lightning and the Jersey Wolves faced off in an intense, high-scoring hockey game yesterday, with the Lightning pulling away as vict ors.

In the first period, Alex Coakley of the Jersey Wolves scored a goal to give his team a 5-0 lead. But Blaise Saad of the Long Beach Lightning racked up two quick goals in period two - one assisted by Chase Rafield and Ethan Cox - to jump ahead 4-1. Saad scored another goal unassisted later in the second, leading to a 5-1 advantage for the Lightning at the end of period two.

Isaac Horn put the Jersey Wolves back on track in period three with assistance from Alex Coakley and Aristotelis Kremmidas, bringing them within four points. And then with just 11 minutes left, Cole Lombardo scored an impressive power play goal assisted by Blaise Saad and Ryan Reilly to secure Long Beachs victory 6-2.

The Lightning finished on top, thanks to strong performances all around - especially by Blaise SaaD who tallied up three goals. This brings their record to 0 wins and 2 losses so far this season.
