Golden Bears Hockey - 14U Gold Wins Game with Last-Minute Goal

The Valley Jr Dawgs and Golden Bears Hockey - 14U Gold faced off in a thrilling hockey game with both teams fighting until the very last minute. Th e Valley Jr Dawgs got on the board first with a goal by Cooper Reger in the 1st period. Player 1 of the Golden Bears scored 2 goals to take a 3-1 lead into the 2nd period. Luke Kenney of the Valley Jr Dawgs answered with a goal assisted by Matthew Young, and Player 1 upped their lead to 4-2. However, the Valley Jr Dawgs refused to go down without a fight and Kenney struck again in the 2nd period tying up the game. With only 33 seconds left in regulation, Player 1 scored their 10th goal of the game to give their team a hard fought victory.
