Capitals Academy pulled out a thrilling overtime victory against Mid State Mustangs thanks to a game-winning goal by Connor O’Sullivan. The first period saw two goals, one each for both teams. Declan Jamberdino opened the scoring for Capitals Academy with assists from Aiden Cheong and Trenton Smith provided the equalizer for Mid State Mustangs. In overtime, Alexander Andreev assisted O’Sullivan on the game-winning goal to seal the win.
