The Delco Phantoms pulled off a thrilling victory in their hockey match over the Flyers Youth on Saturday. After the first period, the Phantoms alr eady had a firm grasp on the match, thanks to goals from Bryce Robinson, Nate Ponden, Nicholas Hamilton, and Liam Bouchard - the latter coming off an assist from Joey DiFabritiis.
In the second period, it looked like the Flyers Youth might mount a comeback when David Mogell and Brendan Rodgers both scored single goals. However, any hope of a successful comeback was quickly extinguished by Max Shahs game-winning goal with just over four minutes to play. The goal was assisted by Nicky Aversa and Carter Short. The Phantoms capped their victory with a final goal from Brendan Rodgers with seven minutes remaining.
In the end, it was a thrilling victory for the Delco Phantoms that wont be soon forgotten!
