Delco Papa Phantoms Defeat Howard Huskies in Close Hockey Match

The Delco Papa Phantoms claimed another victory in their recent hockey match against the Howard Huskies. The Phantoms looked the more dominant side in the first half and were rewarded for their efforts when Stephen Dulaney opened the scoring for the Huskies one minute into play. Just one minute later, Andrew Carrig doubled their lead with a goal of his own. After 11 minutes and 32 seconds, Shane Degrand scored a further goal for the Phantoms and ensured that they went into the first period with a comfortable 3-0 lead.

The pace of the match slowed down slightly in the second period and ended with no further changes to the scoreline. However, that all changed after Ethan Elser scored what would turn out to be the winning goal just into third period, assisted by Jordan Heinrich. Despite Constantine Kim pulling one back for Howard Huskies soon afterwards, thanks to Chase Drapers assist, it wasnt enough as Elser completed a brace and Bryce Stowman hit home too to make it 5-1 to Delco Papa Phantoms. With no further goals, that was how it stayed and Delco Papa Phantoms emerged as victorious from this intense game of hockey.
