Baltimore Stars Edge Out Victory Over Delco Phantoms, 1-6

The Baltimore Stars secured a 1-6 win over the Delco Phantoms in an hard-fought hockey match. Jimmy Albanesi opened up the scoring for the Stars in the first period at 01:00:08. Thomas Mattioli soon found an equaliser for the Phantoms at 01:00:59, assisted by Mauro Colonna, levelling the game at 1-1.

Seth Valdivia then fired into goal with 11 minutes left in the first period, giving Baltimore a one goal lead. Albanesi soon followed his previous effort with a brace at 01:03:51 to make it 3-1. Tyler Bodman came back for Delco shortly after making it 2-3 just before half time.

In the second half of the match, Ryan Steere added another goal for Delco with 02 minutes on the clock to equalise again but their efforts were soon dashed as Luke Held scored a game winning power play goal with 23 minutes remaining on his clock.

Baltimore Stars played a smart match picking up key goals from Jimmy Albanesi (2) and Seth Valdivia (1) as well as Luke Heids game winning effort that was assisted by Ryder McClure and Brendan Townsend.
