Long Island Royals Defeat Ramapo Saints in Thrilling Hockey Match

An exciting clash between the Long Island Royals and the Ramapo Sa ints ended in victory for the former. The match, which was played at Long Island Coliseum, saw Dylan Michalik, Maxton Shafran, Luke Hamilton, Joseph Maire, William Trapani, Michael Coyle, Matthew Smith and Ryan DeRosa all register goals.
The first period saw Dylan Michalik put the Royals ahead with a shorthand goal. Then in the second period both sides scored once each with Luke Hamilton scoring for the Saints and Maxton Shafran for the Royals. William Trapani then made it two for the Royals with a power play goal that turned out to be the game-winning goal. Finally in the third period Charlie Souhrada and William Trapani scored again to take take their sides score to 5-1.
The victorious Long Island Royals will now face their city rivals New York Highlanders next Wednesday night as they look to keep this winning streak going.
