Millbrook Youth hockey - 16U Futures emerged as the victors after a hard-fought battle with the Saugerties Mustangs. The Futures opened up scoring in the first period with Adam Jurkowski (63) and Kamran Hetrick (41) claiming respective goals for the Mustangs. The second period saw three more from the Futures, with Dima Lima (36), Adam Kovar (95) and Alex Hart (77) scoring, and Liam Webb (9) and Aidan Cox (87) providing assists.
Kamran Hetrick scored his second goal of the game in the second period to bring the Mustangs to within one heading into overtime. However, it was Aidan Cox who would make a key pass to Alex Hart who used it to score the game-winning goal in overtime. The final score was 6-5.
