In a hard fought contest, the Sawyer Avenue Sharks and Play It Again Massapequa ended their hockey match in a 2-2 draw. Onto the third period with nothing to separate them, the Sharks were able to take the lead courtesy of goals from Luke Horstmann and Charles Rieger, but Masspequa responded through Chris Testa and Chris Cuomo forcing the tie. Steven Costanzo for Sawyer Avenue and Jeff Cichon for Play It Again were both strong in goal, making 45 saves each.
