Small Wrench Wins Thrilling 8-7 Game Against Landsharks
The Small Wrench hockey team pulled off a thrilling win in their matchup against the Landsharks on Saturday, scoring an 8-7 victory after overcoming a late game deficit. The game was intense throughout all 45 minutes of play, coming down to the final few minutes of the 3rd period.

The Small Wrench opened the scoring early with goals from Nicholas Kelapire and Sean Farrell in the first period. Matt Hogg and John Clancy added another pair of goals for Small Wrench in the second period, but Landsharks rallied back to close the score line, entering the third period with a 7-5 lead.

Andrew Feimer, Michael Baltzer and Jonathan Igoe all scored for Small Wrench in third period to bring them back and retake the lead. Despite some valiant late efforts from Landsharks Steven Zawalich and James Cody, their lone third-period goal wasn’t enough to overcome Small Wrench’s determined offensive onslaught.

Anthony Manginelli finished with 29 saves while Joseph Maddalena made 19 as both teams battled hard until the final buzzer before Small Wrench celebrated their 8-7 win over Landsharks!
