Firedogs Take the Win in Hockey Matchup

The Firedogs were victorious in their hockey matchup against the Landsharks, taking home an 8-6 win. The Landsharks struck first, scoring twice in the first period to take a 2-0 lead. That was short-lived as the Firedogs scored four goals of their own in the same period to take a 4-2 lead into the second period. The Firedogs added another four goals in the next two periods and held on for an 8-6 win. Rob Bernardez and Steven Aracri were in net for respective teams and held strong with 0 saves each. Among those who stood out for the winning side, McDonald and Krapf each scored twice, with Lima and McDonald also both recording an assist. The Landsharks had three skaters (Zawalich, Rosen, & Litterine) with two points each but ultimately could not come away with the victory.
