Goonies Lose Overtime Thriller to Daddys Home

The Goonies loss in thrilling fashion to Daddys Home in a hockey game that saw five goals from the away team scorers. Nicholas Lang tallied two points with a goal, plus an assist, while Connor Pasetti was the top scorer with two goals of his own. Sal Geraci’s solitary goal came in the second period, and Andrew Dachtera scored late on in the third, which was enough to edge a win for Daddys Home.

Christopher Hood and Michael Miller for Goonies combined for zero points due to their defensive efforts, while Matt Pfeffer scored 10 minutes into the second period. Goals from Jr Laibach, Joe (BRONZE MEDAL) Salavec, Cole Flynn and Collin Jacobs tied it up at four each midway through the third period. Biagio Governali of Daddys Home made five saves as goaltender, compared to co-Goonies goalie Collin Jacobs’ four saves. The overtime game ended with Llam ODougherty’s effort going wide right as the final buzzer sounded.
