The Woodbridge Wolfpack encountered a battle against the Long Island Sharks in a thrilling hockey game that ended in their victory.
After an im pressive first period with Jake Giordano, Jimmy Sparacio, and Drew Scalice each scoring goals, the Wolfpack had a 3 - 0 lead. During the second period, two shorthanded goals along with two assists by Ethan Heinrichs and Jason Lonczynski put the Wolfpack on top 5-1. Ryan Twomey of the Sharks scored a power play goal for a bit of comeback to make it 5-2 but Anthony Matteo sealed the deal for the Woodbridge Wolfpack by scoring late in the second period.
At the end of regulation, the final score was 6-2 in favor of the Woodbridge Wolfpack who held on to claim their victory despite a tough game.
