The Wilkes-Barre Jr Penguins emerged victorious from a thrilling hockey game on Saturday, beating the Long Beach Lightning 9-1. Joseph Lipinski led the way for the Penguins, recording two goals and an assist for a total of three points. Colin Donovan and Logan Smith followed up behind Lipinski with 2 goals each, while Dylan Tost and Adam Yochem each recorded an assist as well. Gabriel Fatula, Roman Carpenter, and Mack Weisgable rounded out the teams scoring tally with one goal apiece. With this victory, the Penguins now have sole possession of first place in their conference.
