Whalers Undergo Late Surge to Cruise to Victory

The Long Island Whalers cruised to a 6-2 victory over the Greater Springfield Aces 10 Diamond - EJEPL in thrilling fashion in their Saturday night matchup. The Whalers took control of the game in the second period with Nicholas Newman, Noah Mooney, and Henry Whelan all chipping in. Brian Valente would take it from there, scoring two goals before notching the game-winning goal late in the third period to put the Aces out of reach. Additionally, Valente had four total points on the night (two goals and two assists) even garnering a powerplay goal late in the period to seal the win for his side.
