Reston Raiders fans were elated after the hockey team was able to pull off an exciting victory against Red Bank Generals Thursday night.
The fir st period began with goals from Drew Jarkowsky and John Gary for the Generals and Raiders, respectively. Jack Cella then scored for the Generals, bringing the score to 2-1. The second period saw more scoring from both teams. William Cahill (2), Ryan Quaid, Elloit Berg, Joshua Tobin, and Nicolas Leyra all scored one goal each for their teams. It was Tobys unassisted goal with 23 seconds left in the game that was ultimately game winning. With this dramatic finish, Reston Raiders found a way to edge out a 5-4 win over Red Bank Generals.
