Successful Cranford Hockey Club Takes Down Long Island Edge

The Cranford Hockey Club was victorious in a nail-biting game against the Long Island Edge this past weekend.

The Cranford team led the scoreboa rd after the first period with Nicholas Milone (23), Jackson Azoulay (18), Lucas Cacciatore (89), and Jackson Murphy (98) all scoring goals. Murphys goal was particularly noteworthy as it also happened to be the game-winning goal for the team.

Cranford scored again during the second period, with Logan Paskwiech scoring two goals (one being a power-play goal) and Aidan Shulenburg scoring one. An impressive power-play goal from Owen Duhaime closed out the final period, sealing the victory for Cranford with a score of 8 - 1 over Long Island Edge.

Braden Jacobs (12) and Sean Gennaro (81) were also key contributors for Cranford with assists throughout the game. At the end of 90 minutes of suspenseful hockey, Cranford reigned victorious in front of their home crowd.
