Connor Anderson opened up the scoring at the 1 minute and 41 secon d mark of the first period, followed shortly by Rex Duggan at 7 minutes and 57 seconds which was his 17th goal of the season. Micheal Carlson scored his 5th goal of the game at 8 minutes and 17 seconds. Montclair Blues answered at 10 minutes and 54 seconds with Kyler Levys goal with an assist from Demetri Antell. The game-winning goal came from Dennis Milazzo on a powerplay at 13 minutes and 52 seconds giving Micheal Carlson his 6th goal of the day.
Rex Duggan scored his 19th of season with a shorthanded goal with an assist from Milazzo at 4:22 in period two while Xavier Gulliford scored his 5th also during period two with two assists coming from Asher Sadowski and Harry Barron. Period threes only goals were Thomas Ludovicos 5th of the season, without an assist, at 8:51 and again Micheal Carlson earned himself sixth goal off assists from Ludovico and Gavin Condon.
Overall it was a successful night for New York Stars 10 Gold 1 - EJEPL defeating Montclair Blues 5-2 in a decisive win.
