Short Quakers Youth Hockey Wins in Thrilling Game

In a heated and exciting hockey game between Quakers Youth Hockey and the Loudoun Knights, the Quakers managed to come away with a 3-2 win.

Early on it was Braden McVeigh who managed to give the Quakers an early lead by scoring with his 5th goal of the season at 01:05:38. Moments later, teammate Alex Nolan scored with his 11th goal at 01:14:10.

The Loudoun Knights managed to fight back with a goal from Carson Flieg after an assist from Colin Haddad at 01:18:10, however it was Finnian Chatman-Royce of the Quakers who scored an important game winning goal at 01:18:57 to give the Quakers a two goal lead they would not relinquish. The Knights were able to add one more goal late in the second period by Blake Berger with help from Rex Taylor but it wasn’t enough for them to complete their comeback.

In the end Braden McVeigh of the Quakers added another goal thanks to assists from Finnian Chatman-Royce and Carson Farrington, before Alex Nolan would finish off their victory with a shorthanded goal at 02:23:55.
