Short Nassau County Lions Win Game in Overtime

Article: The exciting hockey game between Red Bank Generals and Nassau County Lions ended with a win for Nassau County Lions in overtime. Billy Thu rman opened up the scoring for Red Bank Generals in the first period with a power play goal, and was assisted by Max Menkowitz. Michael McCabe also scored for Red Bank Generals later in the first period to take a 2-0 lead. Cameron Hedquist broke the shutout late into the second period with an unassisted goal to get Nassau County Lions on the board. It wouldnt be enough, however, until Evan Friedman-Ogino found the back of the net with assists from David Backus III and Cameron Conroy to tie it up at 2-2. Michael Sheahan then scored in overtime on a pass from Noah Schor to give Nassau County Lions the winning goal.
