The Ridgefield Lions 12U hockey team came away with a big win over their opponents, the Woodbridge Wolfpack. Though it was a close game, the Lions found the back of the net to seize the victory in overtime.
Leo Buscemi earned the Wolfpack’s only goal in period one, while Connor Kelly scored their second in period two. Aiden Rau earned an assist on Kellys goal. For the Lions, Marlin Bieber scored twice - once in Period 2 and again in overtime - and Michael Zarro contributed two assists. Bieber’s overtime goal was also declared the game-winning goal for the Lions.
The Ridgefield Lions 12U can now savor their hard-fought victory of 4-3 over the Woodbridge Wolfpack.
