The Princeton Youth hockey team came out on top in an exciting match against the Cutting Edge King Cobras with a final score of 5-4. The match was full of thrilling action, as both teams traded goals across three periods.
Matthew Kossakowski kicked off the scoring for the King Cobras with a goal early in the first period and was assisted by Cole Heinzinger. Trafton (Parker) Schaub and Andrei Lumezanu quickly scored back-to-back goals for Princeton Youth and maintained their lead until the end of the first period, 2-1.
The second period saw more trades of goals between both teams, as Andrei Lumezanu scored two goals to complete his hat trick, while Mateo Martinez scored for the King Cobras and was assisted by Patrick Pariot, who recorded his eighth point of the game which earned him MVP status for his team. Tyler Stahel then put Princeton up 5-2 with a goal assisted by Lumezanu before Cooper Baumwoll scored for the King Cobras in the third period, ending this nail-biter at 5-4.
