The New York Stars scored a decisive victory Wednesday night, trouncing the Delaware Jr Blue Hens 8-1 and solidifying their place at the top of the league. Jack Owen led the charge with a hat trick, earning three goals across various periods, with assistance from Matthew Sweeny and Frankie Scarpaci. Christopher DAndrea scored twice for the Stars, assisted by Gavin Del Grosso and Sean Devlin. Andrew Clark and Nicholas Cardi both added a single goal apiece to round out New Yorks scoring. Patrick Sullivan and Caleb MacKenzie each managed to score one for the Blue Hens, but it was not enough to overcome New Yorks commanding presence on the ice.
