Nassau County Lions took home the win in a thrilling 2-1 victory, primarily led by Ari Sauers hat trick in the second period. Sauer scored his firs t goal of the night just 35 seconds into the period to increase his total goals on the season to 9. Nine minutes later, he notched his second off an assist from Michael Viverito bringing him to 10 total goals. To end out the scorching period, Jacob Arzuza scored his fourth goal of the season with Tristan Arzuza picking up the power play goal. Wrapping up play in the third was Jacob Zubrow netting his first goal of the season off a Lilianna Ziegler assist. With that last score, Nassau County Lions sealed their victory with excitement and pride for their star player Ari Sauer for ending his night with 11 total goals.
