Mustangs Capture Hockey Win Over Knights

The Mid State Mustangs overcame a deficit to defeat the Loudoun Knights in their hockey match-up. The Mustangs led 2-1 after the first period, than ks to goals from Isaac Miller and Kenneth Billings. Power play goals from both teams put the momentum in Mid States favor going into the second period. After Braden Leitenberger scored for Loudoun early in the second period, Andrei Peaco added a shorthanded goal for the Mustangs, and John Paul Hay sealed the win with a power play goal with assists from Trenton Smith and Kenneth Billings. Final score: Mid State Mustangs 4, Loudoun Knights 2.
