Montclair Blues Win on Late Game Winning Goal

The Montclair Blues put on a show in the closing minutes of their game against Arrows Hockey, ending it with a game-winning goal from Jacob Chernov at 03:00:13. This goal gave the Blues a 1-goal lead which they held onto for the remainder of the 3rd period until the final buzzer.

The Blues had kept pace with Arrows throughout the first two periods, with Evan Labarbera and Anthony Bucco each netting a pair of goals to give their team a 2-goal advantage going into the third. Nicholas Neuner answered back for Arrows at 01:05:26 with a shorthanded goal that tied up the score and set up Chernovs heroics late in the period.

With this win, Montclair improved to 4-3 on the season, while Arrows fell to 5-2. Michael Dejianne provided assists on all three of Montclair’s goals during the game and was instrumental in helping them earn the victory.
