The Long Island Whalers came out on top in their hockey game against the Greater Springfield Aces 10 Diamond - EJEPL on Sunday, securing a 10-2 vic tory.
Daniel Krawiec opened the scoring in the first period with two unanswered goals, while Noah Burniske put in one goal for the Aces in the second period. However, it was Jackson Berkowitz of the Whalers and Brian Valente who each scored once that period to increase their team’s lead to 6-2.
In the third period, Dylan Dalessio of the Whalers sealed their win with a game-winning goal, while Zachary Williams of the Aces put in one more to end the game with a score of 10-2.
