The Long Island Sharks have come away with a thrilling victory after last minute heroics secured their overtime win. The game kicked off in the fir st period when Matt Rudzewick scored to put the Sharks on the board with an assist from Colin Ziegler. He was soon followed up by RJ Ciaffone and Louis Hizme, both scoring on their own. Despite these goals, Aiden Mockel managed to score one for the Secaucus Patriots 14 Silver 2 EJEPL team with an assist from Connor Mickealkovich.
In the second period, RJ Ciaffone managed to score again this time with an assist from Louis Hizme but Aiden Mockel responded almost immediately and matched his goal. Finally, Matt Rudzewick sealed the win in the dying moments of extra time with one last goal, giving him a total of three goals throughout the game. Colin Ziegler also pitched in with a late goal while Liam Karty handed out an assist.
The Long Island Sharks pulled through with some impressive performances across their offense and defense securing them a hard-earned victory in a closely fought match!
