Long Island Royals Triumph in Hockey Game

Thanks to a trio of goals from Luke Walther, Michael Brunswick, and Luca Paletta, the Long Island Royals emerged victorious with a 5-4 victory in t heir home hockey game against Westchester Athletics. Luke Walther put the first goal up for the Royals early in the first period with assists from Lucas Ashton and Matthias Brunswick. Matthias then got one of his own halfway through the first. Luca Paletta scored a goal at the start of the second period, and Michael Catizone joined him with an assist from Matthias not long after. Devin Curry put up the final point for Long Islanders off an assist by Luca Paletta, and although Westchester narrowed their deficit with two more unanswered goals late in the second, it simply wasn’t enough. This was a powerplay goal by Luca Paletta that proved to be the deciding factor in securing their victory.
