The Long Island Royals have taken their match against the Delco Phantoms in a hard-fought hockey showdown. In the end, the Royals put up five total goals to propel them to victory.
In the first period, Carter Short, wearing jersey number 83, scored one goal for the Phantoms. Luca Paletta and Devin Curry followed that up with two more goals in period two to add to the Royals’ lead.
Towards the middle of period two, Michael Desaros power play goal marked what would eventually become the game-winning score. Following up on Desaro’s goal was Lucas Ashtons unassisted goal and Michael Eilenbergers unassisted score, which quickly wrapped things up for the Royals and secured their victory.
