The Long Island Royals sent the Montclair Blues packing in a 7-4 victory. The Royals won the game behind scoring contributions from seven different players.
Ryan Figus scored on a power play for the Blues at 1:10 in the first period to make it 1-0.
Madison Dichiaro added one for the Royals just two minutes later to make it 1-1. In the third period Logan Striga put the Royals up 2-1, and Michael Yovino extended that lead with 2:32 left in the game to make it 3-1.
Jaxson Dorrien and Andrew Cahn both added two more goals each, before Kyler Levy hit a shorthanded goal with 1:08 left bringing the score to 6-2. Dorrien then scored his third goal of the game with 33 seconds remaining, sealing the victory for the team at 7-2.
Demetri Antell connected on one last shorthanded goal for Montclair in an effort to close out strong, but ultimately it was too little too late as they fell 7-4 in their final match of the season to Long Island.
