The Long Island Gulls defeated the Montclair Blues in a thrilling hockey game, winning 3 - 1. In the first period, Anthony Carabba, Jack Vermeulen, and Julian Colon each scored one goal for the Gulls. Lucas Zuzzolo had two assists in the first period. In the second period, Xavier Chang provided another goal for Long Island with an assist from Zuzzolo. The Blues rallied in the third period with a goal by Kyle Watkins and an assist by Evan Rodriguez but ultimately failed to beat the Gulls as Colon provided the game-winning goal.
